On the evening of March 23rd the community celebrated Purim with a cocktail party.
Over 50 people attended some of whom were dressed in costumes! Teacher Richelle, Gan Etz HaHaim's Hebrew teacher was MC for the party.
The community enjoyed a raffle with the grand prize of a One Night Stay in Picasso Hotel nearby to the Synagogue.
In the spirit of Purim members of the community played a drinking game. The fastest to drink a bottle of beer wins! Chazzan Moshe Alkobi won with a finishing time of 15 seconds!
Mike Hanapol also sang a few songs with the help of Rabbi Goldschmidt.
