Lag B'Omer was celebrated in the Synagogue with Neon Lights and a black light party!
Kids enjoyed a makeshift bonfire made of twinkle lights, papers and makeshift logs with tents around the campfire. They also enjoyed game booths which were stationed in various parts of the courtyard.
Gan Etz HaHaim's Hebrew teacher gathered the children to the center of the room in front of the bonfire to sing Lag B'Omer songs in Hebrew.
In the library Gan Etz HaHaim teachers had various colorful arts & crafts and bonfire headband stations for the kids and face painting.
Hotdogs, BBQ chicken wings, fish schnitzel and more were wholeheartedly enjoyed by the community!
A keg of beer was also donated by a community member for all adults to enjoy!
Lag B'Omer 2024/5784 was a smash hit with over 80 attendees joining the celebration!
